Even in his 90’s former President Jimmy Carter is doing physical labor for the greater good, and while his passions keep him active, he’s learned that you must stay hydrated or else you’ll end up in the hospital!

Carter, 92, was hospitalized after he collapsed on Thursday while working on a Habitat for Humanity home in Winnipeg, Canada, according to The Hill. A spokesperson for Habitat for Humanity reportedly told CBC News that Carter was hospitalized as a precaution and is feeling fine after being treated for dehydration.  His positive, kind and resilient approach to life was reflected in his words of advice: “He encourages everyone to stay hydrated and keep building,” the spokesperson added.

Carter, who also helped build an impressive solar farm in his hometown of Plains, Ga. (that has the capacity to power half the town), is being treated at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. His beloved wife, Rosalynn Carter is reportedly at his bedside.
